  Website Maintenance — General Terms and Conditions

  1. Existing websites only: The maintenance service applies to an existing, functional website. Initial repairs or stabilisation may require a separate quotation.
  2. Defined monthly allowance: Each package includes a fixed amount of hands-on maintenance time. Inspection, updates, testing, troubleshooting and minor changes count towards the allowance.
  3. Prior approval: Additional work will only begin after the client approves the quotation.
  4. Client control: Website ownership, Admin Panel access and cPanel access remain under the client’s control.
  5. Backups: Backup verification depends on the available hosting or backup system. A successful backup or restoration cannot be guaranteed without appropriate access and infrastructure.
  6. Third-party costs excluded: Domain, hosting, premium software, paid plugins, licences, subscriptions, API usage and payment gateway charges are not included.
  7. Security limitations: Routine checks reduce the likelihood of overlooking common issues but do not constitute a full security audit or guarantee protection against attacks.
  8. No uptime guarantee: Maintenance does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability or the resolution of every technical issue within a fixed time.
  9. Monthly renewal: The service runs for one month at a time. Renewal requires payment for the next service period.
  10. Order placement: Clients must review the package inclusions, limitations and applicable policies and complete their orders through the official Upstart Digital Marketing Agency website.
