Order Workflow
Step Stage Activities and Client Responsibilities
1 Online Order and Payment The client selects the plan, places the order online, completes payment and reviews the applicable Terms of Service published on the Upstart Digital Marketing Agency website. A separate written agreement is not required.
2 Collect Business Requirements Client action required:
Provide the business name, logo, contact details, business information, website content, design references and other requested initial requirements within the allotted timeline.
3 Domain, Hosting and SSL Confirm domain, hosting and SSL arrangements and provide the required access credentials. These services and their renewal costs are excluded unless explicitly included in the order.
4 Website Design and Development Develop the website layout, core pages, navigation, product categories and agreed WooCommerce functionality based on the requirements received from the client.
5 Website Testing and Client Approval Test the website display, navigation, product pages, cart and checkout functionality. The client reviews the website and provides corrections and approvals within the allotted timeline.
6 Website Launch Make the completed website live once the required development, testing and approvals are complete and the domain and hosting are ready.
7 Payment Gateway Integration and Policies Client action required:
After the website is live, proceed with integration of one compatible payment gateway. The client must provide the provider’s required KYC documents, business proofs, bank details and other requested information. Applicable website policies must be supplied by the client or requested from Upstart at ₹2,000 per policy, extra. Gateway approval depends on the provider’s eligibility and compliance checks and is not guaranteed.
8 Product Catalogue Responsibility Important:
Upstart does not upload the client’s product catalogue. The client is responsible for uploading and managing products independently, including product names, descriptions, prices, images and stock details.
9 Product Management Guidance Final step:
Upstart guides the client through product management using 2–3 sample products or provides video tutorials explaining how to add, edit and manage products in WooCommerce. This guidance enables the client to operate the store independently; it does not include uploading the client’s full product catalogue.
Important Commercial Terms
Delivery Timeline Minimum 7 days.
The minimum website development timeline is 7 days, provided the client submits all required initial content, business information, access credentials and approvals within the allotted timeline. Client-side delays or third-party dependencies may extend delivery. Payment gateway integration, provider verification and policy preparation occur after the website is live and may require additional time.
Online Order Terms The online order, payment confirmation and applicable Terms of Service published on the Upstart website govern the service. A separate written agreement is not required.
Client Responsibilities The client must provide accurate business information, usable content and images, required access credentials, documents and timely approvals. The client is responsible for the accuracy and legal usage rights of supplied materials.
Product Uploads Product catalogue uploading, data entry and ongoing product management are not included. The client uploads and maintains the products independently using the guidance or video tutorials provided.
